ABOUT
The Finnoch Press is run by me, Craig Nugent, a printmaker, designer, writer, musician and teacher with an MFA in fine art from the University of Dundee. I also have some unfinished business with an earlier degree in literature temporarily abandoned.
My work is held in major collections such as; The Lighthouse, Glasgow, Dundee University, and the Pittenweem International Arts Festival. In 2003 I was awarded the Bernard Cooper Memorial Prize for printmaking for my trademark sugar-lift and aquatint etchings.
I ceased all involvement in art in 2008 and created the design agency Yellowhammer Creative in which I was Creative Director, this allowed me to look after my son full time. In 2015 I built a relief press and began making prints again which culminated in the founding of the Finnoch Press.
